Laure
Yoga Teacher
Laure is a 500hrs certified yoga teacher from Paramanand Yoga Institute of Indore, India. She studied traditional Hatha Yoga based on Sanskrit texts. Since then she has been teaching yoga in English, French and Flemish, mostly in France.
During her yoga class she focuses on mindfulness and body awareness and teaches asanas accessible to all in order to lead a student to peace of mind by the end of the class.
Laure is passionate about yoga, mindfulness and meditation. In other words: to anything that connects one to the present moment and to one's center. Why? Because she had a very typical fast speed corporate life in Paris for many years where she lost her center.
She has left this life to study yoga, meditation and Buddhism for about a year in Nepal and India. These teachings changed her life and relationship with herself.
She strongly believes yoga makes you and those around you better.
Laure came to Auroville in 2017 as she wanted to evolve in a spiritual environment and go deeper in her yoga practice.
Besides teaching at Auromode Yoga Space, she works at the Town Development Council of Auroville on solid waste management in the surrounding villages of Auroville.

Egle

Egle, Lithuanian began her Hatha Yoga practice at the age of 15. Being atheistic, she believed that human beings don't use their full potential and yoga can help to develop it. During the studies of philosophy in Berlin Egle discovered books of Sri Aurobindo and Satprem. She experienced a spiritual awakening and felt that for all previous years she was asleep. Integral Yoga became her path. Immediately Egle started having Out-of-Body experiences. She began her research trying to understand why, what and how to master these experiences. This research hasn't stopped and she feels it is the most interesting experience. At the age of 24 Egle discovered Auroville and lived there for 5 years. During this time she did intensive sadhana and was taught by two spiritual teachers. In Germany she began teaching Hatha and Nidra Yoga for several years and received a certificate in spiritual healing and energy medicine in 2007. Since 2016 Egle returned to Auroville and studied 2 levels of hypnosis and Prana Vidya.
